Hive Support has been recruiting for Members of Parliament in Westminster and across the UK for many years. We are the only specialist Parliamentary recruitment service, and regularly support MPs from all sides of the House with finding the right candidates for their teams. 

We are often asked to help find short-term, experienced staff to help cover sickness, annual leave or temporary increases in workloads. We rely on a pool of experienced staff to help us provide this service, and are always looking for new candidates who wish to take on additional work around their current role, or on an ongoing flexible basis.  

If you are already working for an MP, your IPSA contract states that you must have their permission to take on additional work. Please ensure you are clear on all your contractural and procedural requirements before you take on additional work. 

Please provide a cover letter alongside your CV advising what sort of work you are able to take on, this could include:

• Casework
• IPSA
• Press/Comms
• Research
• Chief of Staff/Office Management
• Constituency Support 

As well as providing an idea of what commitment you can offer:

• Full time 
• Part time
• Flexi-time (around a current role)
